Revamping is a special type of Project aimed at modifying an existing Plant, to improve product features, increase overall Plant capacity, usually by replacing any equipment that limits the flow rates (debottlenecking), comply with new environmental regulations, etc.

ATM has a solid and industry-specific experience in revamping Projects, designed to upgrade existing Instrumentation, Automation and Telecom systems.

ATM has the expertise and know how needed to carry out revamping projects, comprising:
- site surveys;
- assessing the available documentation;
- evaluating the present situation;
- tying in the new and existing Control Systems;
- defining alternative solutions;
- scheduling the Project, including the possible Plant shut-down;
- supervising the installation of the new systems;
- coordinating and supervising the commissioning and start-up;
- site acceptance testing of the integrated system.

It is important to note that ATM’s approach to Software Control Engineering is based on the implementation of state-of-the-art conventional and control regulations: directly at DCS level.
